Simple Antnotes App Reviews

I wanted to track and easy update my projects but it change the font colors and moves around my two screens. the concept is awesome but it doesnt work.

The free version works well, but it has some problems like font colors can’t be changed independently from each other. For example, if one word in a sentence is changed to blue then the whole note will change also to blue. I’d buy this app, but I don’t know if the paid version has the same problem. This’s a minor failure which is ok for the free version but developers should pay more attention to free apps since people will judge the quality of the paid version through the free version like myself.

I uninstalled it from my MacBook Pro because it overrides some keyboard short cuts that I use frequently in chrome. So instead of opening an incognito tab it pull this app to the foreground.

I like the option to make the notes various colors and sizes. I like my notes bright, so they are noticable. I would rate this higher that three stars if it didn’t change the color of the note randomly when I click out of it. I then have to go back to change the color to my original choice. Fix this please!

Overall, I’m very happy with Simple Antnotes, as the app gives you way more options than Apple’s built-in Stickies. I use it to keep track of my to-do list and simple lists of reminders. However, there are two major issues keeping me from giving the app a 5-star rating: 1. No option to minimize the note like you can with Stickies, so only the title shows and the note is transformed into a small strip. Sometimes I don’t need to see all of my notes at the same time. 2. Ever since the El Capitan beta, every time I go full screen on an app, the notes stay on top of whatever’s full screen and won’t go away until I pin and then unpin them. This is really annoying and I hope that it’ll be fixed by the time El Capitan is released.

I was looking for something simple and complete and this is it!

I really like this app. I does pretty much what I want it to do. I had a lot of actually yellow stickies all over my desk and monitor of things taht I wanted to remember or remind myself and now they are mostly gone. Mission accomplished. The only thing I would like to see is a way of setting the default background color. It seems to randomly select it and then I need to go and then change it. The reason is thatsomel background colors are not as readable or just ugly. Thanks for making a great app.

I had a problem figuring out how to make more sticky notes with stickies and after the app kept giving a few options i decided to try this one out and so far i like it. its pretty good.

SA works fine, much better than Apple’s app. It has much more options to set, like color and font but I need much more text editing options.

Haven’t used the app for long but I find it incredibly helpful so far. Can pen notes in an easy manner, pin them to the screen, move them around, make them translucent and copy info from them to other apps. Love it!

simple and does what I need it to do. would be nice to be able to minimize the note, but not a huge deal to me. Thanks!

I’m very happy with this product. It does exactly what I need. Sticky notes on my screen that I can create quickly and can be closed quickly without losing information. Thank you.

I like that its easier to understand. I like that I can make multiple notes. The customization is awesome. I can change the size of the note, background color, transparency, font color, and even use some of my own downloaded fonts.

Very simple and good looking, this app is really easy to use. It’s also very very helpful also. It helps me remember a lot of details that I usually note into a file or notes, but this is much better. I really recommend this app.

I am reading my notes on the antnotes app and I am typing on another screen and it dims out after 10 to 15 seconds. It is called “sticky notes” isn’t it? Why would I want it to be dimmed out?

I like that I can stack notes, which allows me to hide passwords (with no mention of where they are applicable, of course), but I have it set to come on when I log in, but it doesn’t. It’s a little annoying
